Jonatan Sirak

Jonatan Sirak is the founder and Managing Director of Pamoja Imports, a China-to-Kenya import consultancy with an operations team based in Chengdu, China. Since 2018 he has sourced directly from Chinese factories, negotiated in Mandarin, and managed end-to-end freight for Kenyan entrepreneurs and SMEs across electronics, fashion, solar equipment, and consumer goods. He launched Pamoja Imports formally in 2024 after years of informal sourcing work, built on one observation: Kenyan businesses were consistently overpaying due to middlemen who lacked on-the-ground access to Chinese domestic markets. Pamoja Imports sources exclusively from Pinduoduo, 1688, and Taobao, where factory prices are significantly lower than international buyer platforms. Jonatan is fluent in English and Swedish and negotiates in Mandarin. He is based between Nairobi and Chengdu.
